In this surreal Fine Art Photography piece, I explore the theme of abandonment and loneliness — the kind of ache that makes you want to rip your own head off. I’m sure most people have felt it at least once in their life: a loneliness that creeps in even when you’re not alone, even when you’re surrounded by family, friends — love. And yet, that eerie memory can return without warning — a raw and overwhelming flashback that makes you question if you ever healed at all and leaves you needing therapy just to breathe through it.
The creation of this work was strongly influenced by Céline Dion’s All By Myself, which looped in my mind throughout the entire process. Her piercing performance undeniably shaped the narrative of this piece.
Through carefully staged composition and surreal retouching, I amplified that unsettling tension — the image blurs the line between outer composure and inner collapse.
Although I created this ongoing series primarily for exhibition, selected works — including All By Myself — are also available as Fine Art Acrylic and paper prints in 2 sizes, each produced to museum-grade quality as part of an exclusive limited edition, ensuring exceptional visual depth and lasting archival durability.
